Some ISPs (internet providers) block or slow down VoIP traffic, sometimes because they offer their own telecoms services. In addition, although VoIP traffic requires little bandwidth it is affected by latency so a heavily used connection may result in call quality issues.

Using our InteliBox solves these problems and boosts security too. The InteliBox creates an encrypted tunnel, routing your VoIP traffic directly to our servers. InteliBox will also automatically give maximum priority to your VoIP traffic so calls stay clear even when your staff are using your internet connection heavily.

For multi-user systems or where the existing internet connection is used heavily, we recommend and can provide a dedicated VoIP optimised internet connection. Simply connect your InteliBox and your phones can connect securely to your system with a dedicated connection.

An InteliBox is optional. However, we recommend using one at each location you plan to use your VoIP phones but you may find you have no call quality issues without one. If you sometimes find users 'clog up' your internet connection downloading or you experience call quality issues, we suggest using an InteliBox to ensure your VoIP traffic is prioritised (so it's affected less by heavy users of your internet connection).An InteliBox is optional.
